Schedule of YogaKids Classes August-December 2008  YogaKids 4-8 years old This yoga class is designed just for kids. We slither like snakes, stretch like cats, and stand steady like trees. While “playing” yoga, kids will increase their strength, flexibility, concentration, and ability to relax! Lafayette Community Center, 500 St. Mary's Road, Lafayette When: Session 2: Fridays, November 7-December 19; 3:30−4:15 P.M. (no class 11/28) Cost: $72 for 6-week session. Fee is pro-rated for late registrations. Registration: Pre-registration required. Register online by visiting www.lafayetterec.org or call 925-284-2232. YogaKids for Preschoolers (2-4 years) This parent participation class uses games, songs, and books to teach yoga to the active preschooler. It introduces languages, geography, ecology, basic math concepts, and cooperative living ideas, along with attention to breathing and poses. These classes are full of barking dogs, hissing snakes, roaring lions, fluttering butterflies, and balancing trees! Cost/Registration: This is a free community class, space is limited and available on a first-come-first serve basis. By Appointment On-site YogaKids Classes At school or a private venue, Adrienne brings yoga to you. We provide yoga as an in-school enrichment program or after-school extended day service at public and private schools.
